I'm officially 18!
This post is somewhat delayed, but it's only now that I can properly sit down. What? I have procrastination issues okay? Shall I muse on the things I can do now that I'm 18? Shall I put them in point form?
Yes. Tee hee.
Haha I probably won't do all that I legally CAN do... but I might consider that monkey. Nonsense aside, I somewhat believe that age is just a number. Age doesn't define who you are. You define who you are.
- Buy tobacco
- Buy alcohol
- Sue someone
- Get sued
- Get married
- Get divorced
- Go to a night club
- Sign legal documents
- Enlist in the military
- Donate blood
- Go to adult jail
- Be convicted as an adult
- Work full-time
- Become a stripper
- Get a lapdance
- Give a lapdance
- Buy a monkey (with a license!)
- Be on Jerry Springer

What's my point again? I don't remember... let's all just stare at my awesome purple iPod!

I have such awesome friends. Awesome to the point it actually become unbelievable. I mean, what did I do to deserve them? Thank you Elvin, Mei Yean, and Su Ann for being so awesome (I really should use a different adjective other than 'awesome'), and for organizing the whole get-up just so I could satisfy my shallow wants.
For those of you who didn't know, they actually got everyone to contribute to the JoyWantsAnIpod Fund... which is crazyyyyy, seeing the people who contributed. Shall I put it in a neat point form, again?
Yes! Hooo. :))
A thousand thanks to you guys, you know who you are. I know I've said thank you a million and one times, but another few times won't hurt now will it? Haha it might get annoying, yes, but that's beside the point. I'm just too happy bah. Lol. In alphabetical order, thank you:
- Andrew Hon
- Ben ET
- Chen Wei
- Chi Cheng
- Chun Lim
- CK
- Chong
- Elvin So
- Hein Yew
- Joe Win
- Jonan Wong
- Joshua Lim
- Kevin Lim
- Mei Yean
- My family
- Pastor Joshua (?!?!)
- Peter Lim
- Pohly
- Roy
- Samantha Chow
- SuAnn and family
- Tim Lam
- Uncle Choong
- Uncle Alex
- Uncle Frankie
The whole secret coalition started around 2 weeks before my birthday, and honestly I had no effing idea. The trio even planned for a party; the one my mom "exposed" to me. Ha-ha and they were kinda peeved at my mom for ruining the whole surprise. But I still got the iPod, even though it inflicted quote and unquote "stress" among them. Them being Elvin, Mei Yean, and SuAnn lah.
Have I mentioned how awesome they are?
Here's to you guys, I LOVE YOU! (so sappy but sob, really mahhhh)
The ElvinHaha poserrrr

The Mei Yean

The SuAnn

Later that night, I went out for a "birthday" dinner with my family... where I got stuffed to the brim. And that concluded June 18th, 2009. Thanks to everyone who wished me, whether it be on the phone, Facebook, or in person. :) You made me a very happy girl.
XOXO
