Potential End of Hiatus (Part I)

I'd be rich if I got a dollar for every time I apologized for being so absent. US Dollars, that is.

Sorry for not blogging as often. Was busy with... stuff. Lol.

But I'm back for good, maybe. I've stopped working as a kindergarten teacher/helper, and this month onwards Joy Tan Tan Tan is officially jobless. Both literally and metaphorically speaking. I have a feeling I might want to resume working (the pay is RM8.70/hour okay?? can go shopping like mad) but for now I'm pretty sure I want to have the option of being free. Don't want to be tied down to work schedules and so forth. Free to do what I wish, free to laze around... for the first time since I finished my SAT. *beams*

But it won't be long till I'm back to full throttle studying. It's a big possibility that I'd be retaking my SAT, just to please my mom. And dad. And my pet ant Anthony.

We'll see how it goes lah. Also, my mom shipped some AP Psychology books for me to study while I'm floating about. So there's also a big possibility that I'll be taking the AP Test this coming May, that will/might "shave some credit hours off your University course" (Quote Mrs Joy's Mom).

All this aside, I think I should do a proper blog post. With pictures (that doesn't have books involved), happy faces, unnecessary info, and exclamation marks! (Exclamation marks; check)

Friday

Friday was pretty jam-packed but fun nonetheless. Went all the way to the Yakult (the Japanese Vitagen lah) factory in Seremban with all the little people from Tadika Susu & Madu.

"Who can tell me how many types of bacteria are there?"
"Red!"
"Haha, no. Not asking for the colour! Tell me colour I tell you wrong."
"Blueeeee!"
"..."

After visiting the Yakult factory, we went to the Seremban Siew Bao place. I don't know what to call it. Bakery? Anyways, after that, all five buses arrived back to the kindergarten at about 4pm, and I left straight for home. Had a quick shower (unnecessary info; check), and went to Sunway for Adrian's 21st birthday party.

I had to leave the party early just so I would make it back to Cheras in time for my 11pm curfew. Remember when I had asked my parents for the house keys (symbol for more freedom) as my 18th birthday present? Well. I didn't get those aforementioned keys. Yeappp. Alas, I shall try again for my 19th. Lol.

Friday was also my dear mother Mei Yean's 18th birthday! I wanted to drop by her place, but I figured she's be out with her friends anyways (I guessed correctly lol) so I told her that I'd just see her on Saturday.

John Smith and I got her a leather Roxy wallet, cause I figured her current was kinda cramped. Mei Yean had too much cash and too many student ID cards (that she'd take from random boys haha!). So the bigger wallet we got her should be quite appropriate. Hahaha, hope you like your present Mei Yean! (more exclamation marks; check)

Happy Mei Yean
She happens to love food with a deep passionate fervor. LOL.
*inside joke*
